Therapy Dog Program
Mental health matters and its a huge part of James life that he works hard with professionals across the board to bring more attention towards. Our therapy dog program is one that has had lots of work put into it from day 1 and has been tested a few times now even for being new in 2024. A few times now evaluators have made the comments that the dogs coming through the training program have far exceeded the standards and when they see our dogs enter the evaluation they know the outcome immediately. We have trained therapy dogs for EMS systems, adult/child protective services, and hospitals with fantastic results. Handlers have called back us over the last year to tell us how the dogs are doing and things they have encountered that didn't bother the dogs at all, this tell us our program was set up correctly from the start creating sound dogs to help those who need it. We are working very hard to build a non-profit program to place donated dogs and our donated time for agencies who are taking the big step in combating the mental health stigma and those working to make a child's life better. We can't do this without the help of fantastic breeders from across the nation who believe in what we believe, it is truly one team with one mission in mind, even if someone "just transports the dog", without everyone's hands its impossible for to handle ourselves.
